Moroccan landscape

Blog 3:
The Moroccan landscape has surprised me greatly. I was expecting a mostly desert and arid scenery. Instead I have found an incredible diversity. During the drive to Berrem Midlet in the Middle Atlas Mnts I saw lush green hills with trees and farms, mountains, plains, and the more traditional arid desert. The temps also vary greatly. While in the farm land it was much cooler, the higher and further we went in the mountains the more arid and warm it became. That was just in a 5h drive!

Went on a lovely hike through the hills and into a traditional Berber village. Reminded me greatly of the native American adobe villages.
